Tonight I was to West Chester's graduation to see Jena graduate. The amount of cool and fun people I bumped into made me a bit nostalgic. It's not like I can go back and have the same experiences again. Those people were all graduating tonight - so they won't be there if I go back. And then, why go back?
I left Jena and her friend and I walked back to behind the music building on my own. My phone had died and I was taking this walk through pretty open and well lit (for the most part) parts of campus. I stopped at the corner of high street and rosedale to wait for the light to change so I could cross. I looked up at the glowing green traffic light, against the dark purple sky - the clouds thick with the potential for rain. I enjoyed watching the light change from green to yellow and then to red. I walked across in the crosswalk and headed back to Watson, parked in a parking lot he hadn't been in in awhile.
There are other thoughts about tonight, but my eyes are closing and I must give in to the sleep. Good night!
