This is the start of the adventure. We started in Bangor and drove to St. John. The first two photos are of the farmer's market in St. John. Dad and I didn't even notice the hanging fish, what with everything else going on in this building, until as we were leaving. There was a man taking a photo of those fish and that is when I remembered my camera. So you get to enjoy the fish too.
We had two nights in Charlottetown, so we drove around the island. We headed north to the place where L. M. Montgomery set her Anne series, Cavendish, as well as, the east part of the island, to East Point and Basin Head.
From PEI, we took a ferry. Here are some ferry photos:
We landed a bit off of Cape Breton Island, so we drove there. First, let me give photos of the place we stayed and the views it gave.
We then drove around the top of Cape Breton from Ingonish to Cheticamp and back again. Here's a map of our drive:
Now, all of the following pictures were taken along this driving route.
These last couple of pictures are the last of the lot. They are random, yes, and they also need some explanation. I will try to cover all questions in the captions. If I don't do so well, please be sure to leave me a comment and I will see if I can clarify.
